“Security in the Industrial Internet, Industry4.0, and Industrial IOT”
That is, what are the risks and how to protect networks and systems used on plants, machinery and sensors in industry and utilities, in the Industrial Internet and in the Industrial IOT.
During this workshop, the IT security risks inherent in the industrial Internet (otherwise also identified with Industry4.0, for networks and systems used in production companies) are presented.
We also talk about Security for the so-called "Industrial IOT" understood as the IOT (Internet Of Things) which sees the connection of sensors, actuators, networks and systems used in industry and utilities.
In addition to indicating the risks, the focus will be on methodologies and technologies for the protection of networks and automation, control and remote control systems against IT risks.

October 2015 is the month of European Cyber Security Month (ECSM) 2015.

The ECSM is a European Union campaign that has been held for years throughout the month of October to promote awareness of cyber threats and methods to counter them among citizens and businesses, to change their perception of cyber threats and provide up-to-date information on cyber protection and information security. The ECSM is organized by the European agency ENISA, with various activities in all EU member countries. (https://cybersecuritymonth.eu)
Also this year, the European Cyber Security Month is supported in Italy by Clusit which, together with various organisations, universities and research centres, and in agreement with ENISA and the Higher Institute of Communications and Information Technologies of the Ministry of Economic Development (ISCOM), is preparing many initiatives, which will all be held during next October.
The detailed program of events will be published shortly, and this meeting could be one of those promoted by ECSM2015 in Italy.
