Cybersecurity returns to the center of attention during the month of October with ECSM (European Cyber Security Month, https://cybersecuritymonth.eu ), promoted by ENISA (European Agency for Information Security www.enisa.eu
Also ServiTecno (www.servitecno.it) under the aegis of Clusit (Italian Association for Information Security, www.clusit.it) has decided to join the training and awareness campaign for Cyber Security in Italy, focusing its efforts and activities on the protection against IT risks of networks and systems used on plants, machinery and sensors in industry and utilities, in the Industrial Internet and in the Industrial IOT.
Here are the dates to mark down and the topics that will be addressed:
- 14 Settembre, at the TIS Innovation Park in Bolzano, in collaboration with Endian: "Protecting companies from attacks from the internet" https://tis.bz.it/it/centri/free-software-open-technologies/news/proteggere-le-aziende-dagli-attacchi-provenienti-da-internet , or how companies can defend their computer systems.
- 30 Settembre 2015, within Forum Remote Control 2015: "SAFE WATER 4.0: Cyber Security in Scada systems (Control and Remote Control)" presentation by Francesco Tieghi (ServiTecno), Antonio Allocca (AIT) - http://www.forumtelecontrollo.it/123/id_94/acqua-sicura-40-la-cyber-security-nei-sistemi-scada-(controllo-e-telecontrollo).html – The purpose of the intervention is to make System Integrators and End Users aware of the new facets and frontiers of Cyber Security in process environments. CYBER SECURITY ICT (understood as protection from IT risks) and that relating to PROCESS SYSTEMS, have similar principles but different priorities. How to best interpret the problem in a technological era in which system architectures and the number of connections are increasing exponentially, also in consideration of Smart Grids, IOT (Internet Of Things) and Cloud Computing.

- 13 October, Bari CONFSEC2015 (www.confsec.it): ServiTecno and Endian present “Industrial Internet end Industrial IOT are already here:… and now?” . This intervention starts from the observation that the Industrial Internet and the Industrial IOT impose strategies and technologies that are different from those for the protection of traditional networks and systems: therefore, I echo some indications on how to proceed.

- 27 October, in Verona, on the occasion of Save2105 (www.exposave.com ), under the aegis of ISPE Italy Affiliate (www.ispe.org/italy) the seminar "The GAMPs and the Security of networks and systems in drug production plants" where, with the help of system validation experts, users and suppliers, what is contained in the GAMP5 and its appendices regarding access control is illustrated, security, performance monitoring, configuration management, change control and business continuity. All topics relating to the safety, availability and reliability of the systems used in the "Life Science" industry.
