What is the situation in Italy? What precautions must be taken to make one's system more solid?
Despite being one of the most affected countries in the world (first in Europe for the number of infected PCs, 6 million citizens already victims of cyber criminals) there is still no legislation that obliges victims of cyber attacks to report them.
Many companies fear that making this news known could harm their image on the market. Still others do not report simply because they do not know they are already under attack.
It is necessary to increase sensitivity on the Security side, because in the case of supervision and control systems (the new targets of cyber crime) there is much more at stake than simple privacy: the risk is that of not being able to produce, or even worse unable to provide a fundamental service for the community.
