“Serialization: state of the art and perspectives”
ISPE Affiliata Italiana offers the Italian Life Science community the state of the art and the prospects of “Serialization” and “Track&Trace”, thus renewing the initiatives on this crucial topic, already addressed in previous years.
Today we talk about Serialization and Track&Trace not only for the rules to protect the patient's health but also from an optical point of view Industry4.0 / Pharma4.0.
Aspects of technology, of local and international requirements, of compliance, of organization, of systems, of approach must be shared in order to successfully face the important challenge of traceability and anti-counterfeiting in the new Pharmaceutical Supply Chain, with rules not only Italian but extended to the entire European and global market.
At the same time we must take into account the radical change that lies ahead in the supply chain itself, in relationships, roles, collaboration, mechanisms, with a close reference to national and European regulations and supervisory authorities.
The practical challenge is to keep up with this rapid change, together with the new attitude towards the upcoming paradigms: this is what ISPE, also thanks to the ISPE Italy Affiliate intends to share in the Italian Life Science community, providing participants with a great opportunity to update and prepare for the future, through experiences, success stories and also difficulties to overcome, comparisons and concrete visions.
Thanks to the presence of Italian and international speakers and experts of absolute importance, we will address the state of the art and perspectives related to Serialization and Track&Trace: the discussion will start from the entry into force, in less than two years in Italy and throughout the European Union, of EU Regulation 2016/161 on control methods for medicines and on reducing the risk of counterfeiting.
Serialization: an important challenge that concerns technological, compliance, organization and approach aspects and which must be faced with punctuality and competence.
