The event

The 1st edition of the Industrial Software Forum entitled “The evolution of software technologies in Industry 4.0”  Will be held at Milano.
The new digital business models and the benefits deriving from investments in a digitization path converging on the Industry 4.0 paradigm will be at the center of the debate.
The event, organized by ANIE Automazione in collaboration with Messe Frankfurt Italia, will be structured in vertical sessions dedicated to industrial software technologies in the various application areas.
A particular focus will be on some important cross-cutting topics such as cybersecurity, efficiency, servitisation and change in managerial processes.
At the opening of the works, a ROI estimate model will be presented for an investment in industrial software created in collaboration with the University of Pisa, the University of Florence and the Sant'Anna University School of Pisa.
In the exhibition area, direct confrontation with the operators will be favoured.

Over the years, the for the 'industrial automation has become a strategic factor for the functioning of companies. Today, information systems are the engine of the evolution of Manufacturing and the concept of smart factory and precisely digitized, summarizes this role.

IT/OT, Big Data, Analytics

The convergence IT/OT, Big Data, Analytics, as well as the concepts of virtualization, validation, simulation, prototyping, artificial intelligence, are all characterizing and essential elements to best implement digital transformation in industry and beyond.

Investment in IT infrastructures is increasingly seen as one of the main levers for guaranteeing manufacturing companies the efficiency and effectiveness necessary for their very survival, thus affecting competitiveness.
