Milan, November 24th. Today mcT Oil&Gas (Milan at the Crowne Plaza of San Donato) is taking place, an important vertical initiative of reference for professionals engaged in the Petrochemical and Oil&Gas and Process industry sectors.
La energy transition remains the main focus of every technological appointment linked to energy: at mcT Oil&Gas we will therefore talk about energy efficiency and innovation in refineries and petrochemical complexes, biorefineries and process automation systems, PNRR (very current topic) and management of the production units; but in the foreground you will also find ATEX and Safety, industrial safety, certifications, regulatory updates, up to insights into innovative energy vectors such as hydrogen.

All 9.40 hours, during the morning plenary session on industrial cyber security, our Enzo Maria Tieghi, Pres/Amm Del ServiTecno, CLUSIT Scientific Committee (Italian Association for Computer Security www.clusit.it), gave a speech entitled "Focus on OT/IIoT Security, from the CLUSIT 2022 Report"
Abstract: The CLUSIT 2022 Annual Report, just published, places the FOCUS on two unfortunately connected themes: "Operation Technology Security" and "Effects of war on the security of Critical Infrastructures". This short speech talks about OT/IIoT Security and how IT risks can be tackled in order to protect and increase the resilience of networks and factory automation and process control systems.
An unmissable appointment is expected, full of updates and business: a whole day in which participants can increase their skills - in addition to the plenary sessions, there is a rich exhibition area reserved for the protagonists of the sector, together with a series of technical workshops -afternoon applications edited by the participating companies themselves, so as to allow the operators present to explore specific solutions, technologies and case studies ranging from sustainable petrochemicals, hydrogen, cyber security and ATEX.
mcT is organized by EIOM in collaboration with AIS/ISA Italy Section (Italian Association of Instrumentationists), ATI (Italian Thermotechnical Association), CEI (Italian Electrotechnical Committee), the patronage of ANIPLA (Italian National Association for Automation) and GISI (Association of Instrumentation) and the support of the "Petrochemical Guide".
