Even this year ServiTecno will participate in the Remote Control Forum (23 October, Florence), the reference exhibition-conference for those involved in networks, utilities and smart cities, bringing to the attention of operators in the sector many innovations for the control and supervision of processes, as well as solutions for cyber security.

As a SCADA platform, ServiTecno's proposal is GE iFIX, a solution that allows to reduce problem resolution times by offering operators greater awareness of the context and company management having real-time visibility of what is happening in the field.

IThe system generates HTML5 interfaces that adapt perfectly to any display device. iFIX is safe “by-design” because it uses open and safe standards such as OPC UA, digital certificates and web tokens for communication with clients, allowing HMI to be implemented in complete safety. Support for the ISA 18.2 standard makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the systems thanks to the possibility of not taking charge of non-significant alarms.

Also protagonists of the Forum are the novelties of Historian, the solution for the collection and historical analysis of data. From this year Historian is also available in a version for Linux and in an innovative licensing model based on the software-as-a-service approach.

Focus also on cyber security, a particularly important issue in a sector where complete and secure communication is essential. A traffic anomaly could in fact be a sign of a malfunction or even sabotage induced by an unauthorized intrusion into company systems. Anomaly Detection automatic systems, such as the one developed by Nozomi Networks, can represent a first level of "early warning" to protect networks and control systems and safeguard the controlled plant. These are solutions that analyze the relationships between the various terminals and traffic volumes, helping to define the rules of "normal" communication and, consequently, to recognize illegitimate behaviour.

The Inventia-branded devices dedicated to telemetry applications will also be on display at the ServiTecno stand.
