Abstract: The convergence between IT and OT it is increasingly on the table of the CIOs of all industrial and utility companies. The CISOs find themselves evaluating whether the methods and technologies adopted to protect the IT infrastructure from cyber risk can be used and extended to the OT perimeter as well. Industry 4.0 and the consequent CyberSecurity 4.0 are becoming urgent today in order to address, in addition to the issues Safety and protection of intellectual property, the necessity of ensure operational continuity. All with reference to the new EU NIS2 Directive, which we will soon have to apply also in Italy and also evaluating any needs for Specialized SOCs for the OT/ICS world (Industrial Control Systems).
