Penguin Solutions has announced the second generation of its award-winning Stratus ztC Endurance platform, its flagship fault-tolerant computing platform with a 99,99999% availability. The new Stratus ztC Endurance family of platforms enables IT teams to ensure the uptime of critical applications and data while consolidating workloads within a highly reliable, manageable and functional IT infrastructure.
This second generation introduces a very high-performance model, the Stratus ztC Endurance 9110a 46% performance improvement compared to the 7100 and a dense number of 64 core to provide highly reliable, high-volume transaction processing within a single platform. The new model Stratus ztC Endurance 7110 offers improvement of 18% compared to the 7100. This generation also adds the Linux support (RHEL 9.4) in addition to bare metal or virtualized versions of Windows Server and VMware vSphere.
This unique combination of high-end performance and Linux support is particularly suited for industries such as financial services, retail, and manufacturing. The processing power of the Stratus ztC Endurance 9110 and 7110 platforms also makes them particularly well suited for AI inference workloads at the edge, offering thehigh productivity and low latency required by applications such as AI image classification.

The release includes four new models of the Stratus ztC Endurance platform, powered by 100th Gen Intel Xeon processors, and offers an optional XNUMXGb Ethernet network adapter to support data- and storage-intensive applications.
- Stratus ztC Endurance Model 9110: This ultra-high-performance model features dual Intel Xeon Gold 6548N processors with 32 cores per CPU, 64 cores per compute module, and 5 Mbps DDR5200 memory.
- Stratus ztC Endurance Model 7110: This high-performance model features dual 5520 processors with 28 cores per CPU and 56 cores per compute module with 5 Mbps DDR4800 memory.
- Stratus ztC Endurance Model 5110: This mid-range model features dual Intel Xeon Silver 4510 processors with 12 cores per CPU, 24 cores per compute module, and 5 Mbps DDR4400 memory.
- Stratus ztC Endurance Model 3110: This entry-level model features a single Intel Xeon Silver 4510 processor with 12 CPU cores, 12 compute module cores, and the same 4400 Mbps memory as the 5110 model.
