The digital acceleration of the Italian manufacturing industry has exponentially amplified the cyber attack surface, turning every IoT sensor, SCADA system, and automated production line into a potential entry point for increasingly sophisticated threats. The new European regulatory landscape – from NIS2 to the Cyber Resilience Act – it does not only represent a bureaucratic obligation, but a call to action for radically rethink the approach to industrial security. In this context, theArtificial intelligence emerges as a dual protagonist: accelerator of productive innovation e, simultaneously, vector of new vulnerabilities that require new defense strategies.
The panel will explore how manufacturing companies can navigate this complexity transforming regulatory compliance into a strategic lever for building resilient, secure, and competitive production ecosystems in the global market. The goal is to provide a practical roadmap for integrating cybersecurity, technological innovation, and regulatory compliance into a unified vision of sustainable growth.
Among the event's speakers was our own Mario Testino, a cybersecurity expert and Managing Director of ServiTecno.
The event is held in collaboration with SPS Italy and is included in the event's programming Milan Digital Week 2025 “All the intelligences of the city.”
