In Italy, GPRS data transmission is still (rightly) the backbone of aqueduct communication backbones: modern 3G and 4G networks are oversized due to the reduced data packets that are normally sent from inspection wells, pumping stations or other, but it is right that they remain dedicated to other kinds of data transfers (telephony, mobile ret6e, etc…).
The constancy and solidity of data transmission in GPRS is therefore ideal in a jagged territory such as the Italian one, and above all for applications of supervision of the Aqueducts on such a rugged terrain.
From North to South there are dozens of Aqueducts that have included INVENTIA in the list of suppliers, convinced by the reliability of the product in a sector where failure to provide the service can cause major problems also related to safety.
