Maintain your applications in the field by building High Availability while simultaneously building your gateway to the cloud - a dream? No, today you can!

After the successes obtained with powerful FT-Servers and the increasing diffusion of the solution EverRun software, Stratus Technologies offers its solution for HA (high availability or high availability) in a factory environment: the ztc Edge.

STRATUS TECHNOLOGIES Hardware solutions are certainly among the best known and most reliable on the market for Fault Tolerance management: with Stratus FT-Servers, the American brand (also thanks to a remote monitoring system of the physical functions of the servers) can guarantee 99,999% system availability.

ServiTecno has been the STRATUS channel for the Software proposal for almost 10 years, which partially uses the technologies already in the field for FT-Servers: EverRun upgrades your virtual machines to High Availability or even Fault Tolerance.

Rugged design and quick installation

The ztC Edge nodes are robust and specifically designed for use in industrial contexts, for "on the edge" installations. They can be DIN rail mounted and be up and running in less than 30 minutes. They are simple to maintain and can be used in a redundant configuration as well as hot swapping. They are also continuously monitored by Stratus and automatically synchronize with running processes.

ztC Edge runs on the integrated virtualization platform Stratus Redundant Linux which is capable of running up to 3 separate virtual machines, each with different industrial control or IIoT applications. A management tool, the ztC Console, simplifies the setup, configuration and management of virtual machines.

Redundant ztC Edge nodes act as a single system that can proactively move virtual machines from one node to another, to ensure application continuity. If a network or disk failure of one node is detected, the system automatically redirects traffic to the other node, without any operator intervention. The nodes can be physically separated up to 40 km or, under certain conditions, even more. Applications running in one location can be continued in another location, with minimal service disruption and fully autonomous, ensuring data recovery without operator intervention.

Ideal for critical applications but not only!

ztC Edge was designed to help companies increase efficiency, reduce costs and reduce downtime. It installs quickly and can be managed completely remotely, significantly reducing the effort typically required by IT to deploy a data processing solution in the field. Self-protection and self-monitoring features help reduce unplanned downtime and ensure maximum availability in business-critical industrial applications.
